YouTube
A YouTube channel where I upload clear and straightforward Discord tutorials.
How It Started
On August 12, 2022, I created my YouTube channel and uploaded a few Discord tutorial videos just to see if anyone would watch them. The first videos received 2–4 views each, which gave me some motivation to continue creating more content.
I didn’t want to be just another Discord tutorial channel, so I spent several weeks researching what other creators were doing. I watched tutorials, analyzed their editing styles, and read comments to identify what viewers disliked. Here’s what I found:
- Many tutorials don’t get straight to the point and start with unrelated content.
- Some creators overcomplicate tutorials to make them longer to run more ads.
- Many creators provide “links to code or templates” in the description, but often the links are broken or require joining a Discord server — something viewers complained about.
- Creators rarely engage with comments, especially when viewers ask for help.
- Important steps are often not zoomed in or explained clearly.
- Videos are sometimes cut in ways that confuse viewers.
Knowing exactly what others were doing wrong, I made it my goal to create better tutorials that are concise, clear, and genuinely helpful. This approach laid the foundation for the success of my channel.
