Synergy Website

A documentation website for Discord bots, designed to make learning and using them easier.

How It Started

While using the highly customizable Discord bot Sapphire, I noticed there wasn’t any official documentation for its features. Some community members had made unofficial guides, but many people preferred video tutorials.

I started creating video tutorials, but typing long commands and explanations on video could get tedious and boring for viewers. I needed a way for people to quickly access and copy text from a guide I could link in the video descriptions.

I first tried Gitbook and wrote some guides based on my videos, then moved everything to Zaap for a while. Both worked, but I wanted more customization.

So I built my own site using Next.js Nextra Framework, spending over two weeks creating in-depth guides with clear visuals to make them easy to understand.

Later, I switched the website to a new docs framework called Fumadocs for better performance and flexibility. I paused active development on the site due to time constraints, but it remains live with all the guides I’ve already created.

How It’s Going

The website received 1,000 visitors in the first 10 days and 2,000 visitors in the first 20 days after launch.

People continue to share the guides online, and the existing content remains accessible for anyone who wants to learn.

Each guide takes significant effort 7–9 hours to write and design — keeping language simple and visuals clear so everyone can follow along easily.

Even though the project is currently paused, it’s still a valuable resource for the community.
